In honor of the 50th anniversary of the Rural Development Act of 1972, the National Association of Community Development Extension Professionals (NACDEP); the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP); and the Experiment Station Committee on Organization and Policy (ESCOP) recently released proclamations to “recognize the significant contributions of the Regional Rural Development Centers over the past 50 years and look to them for leadership as they play a significant role in the continued vibrancy of rural America.”
