CED provides workforce development through education and connecting individuals with resources. Programs are focused on underserved, underrepresented populations in economically challenged communities.
In FY 2024, CED provided activities and engagements in 13 counties that included:
• Financial literacy
• Entrepreneurship
• Small business development
• Farm financial management

Education was provided to meet the needs of the target audience, including small business owners, agribusiness owners, and local community members.
